I don’t like the wind. It messes up my hair, blows dust in my eyes and hurts my ears causing me to have a huge sinus headache. I don’t mind a fresh breeze though. That is so refreshing and graceful in the way it blows.
I’ve never thought about the wind having a colour until I had actually given it some thought. While thinking about it, I came to classify different winds into different colours.
When I think of rough gale force winds, I associate it with the colour red. The reason for this is because it seems as though the wind is fierce, angry, boisterous and loud. The wind, to me, is always telling a story in the way it blows and when gale force winds blow, it’s as if the wind wants to make a really bold statement.
The wind between being a gale force wind and a calm wind I can’t actually associate with any colour because it is very neutral. It seems as this wind is the ‘follower’ in the sense that it blows purely for the sake of blowing. You are aware that the wind is blowing, but it’s almost as if you don’t notice it, because it doesn’t bother you.
A wind which is hot, or more commonly referred to as the heat wave I associate with a dirty brown colour, because there is nothing fresh and pure about it. I guess you could see this wind as the ‘evil’ wind. Every breath you take feels as though you’re inhaling millions of toxins and your body is being intoxicated with harmful gases or dirt.
A calm breeze, aaahh, this is my favourite amongst them all. The colour of a calm breeze I associate with blue. It’s soothing, refreshing and tranquil. It blows gracefully through your body, purifying it and bringing you fresh oxygen. This is the purest of all winds and as I mentioned earlier the most graceful.
Each element in nature has character. This is my interpretation of the wind and its character, I’m sure that it is different for everyone. There is so much colour and emotion in nature, because nature is beautiful. It brings a sense of colour and emotion in everybody’s lives and souls, it’s all about the way you interpret it…
Very cute interpretation - I hadn't thought of it like that. It's so refreshing to see another person's take on things. Trust you to think about all the toxins in the air hahaha!
